Financial aid
Technology is advancing drastically. All the advancement today is due to the education and research which is being promoted in the world. But still literacy rate of the world is too low. This is due to unawareness of the advantages and necessity of education and also the financial problems of the people.
Some people send their young ones to work to earn some money which will be used in fulfilling the basic necessity of life. Some can't afford the education expenditure which includes the books, tuition fees. Some do educate their young ones with basic education as it is not so costly but they are not able to give them higher education as it is very costly. In this way many talented individuals are deprived of the higher education. This problem though does not seem so effective but on the long run it is affecting the society very much.
For solving such problems, nations are taking steps by giving federal aid. Federal aid is not specified for any particular area. It is devoted for whole country. Where there is deserving federal aid will be for him. There are simple steps to take federal aid. As it is the right of every deserving citizen.
There is also student federal aid available. These aids are to be distributed in the whole student community evenly and all the deserving students take advantage of it. Student federal aid has helped a lot of poor students but there is also need of much effort. Student federal aid is distributed at provincial level.
There are many institutions dedicated to student loans. Student loans are issued at the start of academic years and they are issued for any particular degree or departments. The students coming up to the criteria of loans should apply for the loans. They can return back the student loan when they start their professional career. For example National bank issues student loans every year studying at university level and they provide the loans with very much less interest rate.
College aid is also available. The college aid can include the scholarships by college for the talented students. It will come into the category of college aid. The college financial aid is also available for needy students. The college financial aids them either by deducting their college fee or giving some amount to buy books, uniform. Government also issue aid for the student studying at college level but these loans is less than that offered at university level.
Financial aid is also available at school level. School financial aid can be given by the school or even by the government. Government of Pakistan is doing a lot for the students at school level so that basic primary education should be spread as much possible. For example government takes test from school level students. Government has criteria for their marking. If they fulfill the criteria then they will be aided by the government. There will be no tuition fees. There books will be free .There uniforms will be provided by the government. The teachers will be paid by the government if that is a private school. In Pakistan now the primary level education is almost free. Government has started campaigns that the students will be even paid if they will go to school. This is a very good motivation for the students who can't afford the education and are compelled to work for money. So school financial aid is also being very much promoted by the Government. Government has also announced education campaign for older people who can't read and write. The older people are paid and taught. These campaigns are working on the basis of education aid given by the government. These education aids has increased the literacy rate of Pakistan to some extent but still there is along long way to go. Educational financial aid is also provided by other countries.
There are international organization like UNO and others who are working for the betterment of the whole world. They collect money from some developed countries and distribute this money to underdeveloped countries. These collected amounts are being used for different financial aids. One of the main issues confronting many underdeveloped nations is Illiteracy. Literacy rates of under developed countries are low. So some percentage of that financial aid is given to the countries only for the purpose of education development. Countries can build schools, colleges, universities, research labs and equipments with that aid as buildings are one of the major hurdles in the education development. They can also train teachers so that the quality of education should be better. The education financial aid can be in the forma of books, uniform. So, educational aid has increased the literacy rate to some extent in many underdeveloped countries including Pakistan. This is a very positive point but there is very long way to go.
Financial aids are there to help people but there is lack of awareness and unexposure to the opportunities. People don't know whom to contact when they have financial problem. There are advertisements for the financial help available on national level as well as international level. People just have to apply for financial aid. Non deserving people apply for the financial aid and get the aid but deserving people are deprived of their right because of their unexposure. So it is good to be up to date of the financial aid information if you do have any financial problem. The financial aid information is available in newspapers, television, and internet. The only matter is that is to apply for that and correctly apply for financial aid. Sometimes people do apply but fill in wrong information that's why their application for aid is rejected. So at the end we can say that financial problems of people can be solved through financial aid. The need of the hour is to be active and remain up to date in the era of information.
